Questions people ask
Can I book this as a Hornbill Festival package from Kolkata?
Yes. Fly from Kolkata to Dimapur (directly or via Guwahati) and we'll pick you up there. For the Hornbill dates (1–10 December), book as early as you can, because rooms in Kohima sell out.
Can we stay in a village in Nagaland?
Yes. This tour includes a night in the traditional huts of Touphema tourist village, and a Khonoma homestay can be added on request, subject to availability.
Is it worth visiting Nagaland outside the Hornbill Festival?
Yes. Kisama, Khonoma, Touphema and Dzukou are open year-round and much quieter outside December; October to May has the best weather.
Do I need a permit for Nagaland?
Indian visitors need a Nagaland Inner Line Permit, and we help with the application.
