Arrive Agartala
Agartala airport → hotel · approx. 12 km, 30 mins
A private car meets you at Agartala airport. After check-in and some rest, you go to Ujjayanta Palace in the evening to see it lit up, and the musical fountain in its gardens if it is running.

Neermahal & Udaipur
Agartala → Melaghar → Udaipur → Agartala · approx. 130 km round trip
You take a boat across Rudrasagar Lake (boat fare paid locally) to Neermahal, the royal water palace built in the 1930s. In Udaipur you visit the Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, and the Bhuvaneswari Temple on the Gomati river. You return to Agartala in the evening.

Agartala heritage, fly to Aizawl
Agartala sightseeing → flight to Aizawl (Lengpui) → Aizawl · approx. 1 hr drive
In the morning you visit the Tripura State Museum inside Ujjayanta Palace and walk through Heritage Park. After lunch you fly to Aizawl; a private car meets you at Lengpui airport, where your Mizoram permit is checked, and drives you to your hotel.

Local sightseeing in Aizawl
You visit Solomon's Temple, the Mizoram State Museum and Bara Bazar, where you can buy handwoven puan cloth. In the late afternoon you drive up to Durtlang hills for sunset over the city.

Reiek excursion
Aizawl → Reiek and back · approx. 29 km each way, 1–1.5 hrs
You drive to Reiek and take the short hike to the top of Reiek Tlang, with sweeping views over the blue hills. Below the peak, the heritage village shows traditional Mizo houses and how people lived. You return to Aizawl for dinner.

By road it is about 350 km and takes 10 to 12 hours. The flight saves almost a full day, which leaves time for Aizawl and Reiek. You can choose to drive instead if you want to see the countryside.
